The Chess Castle of Minnesota is located in Northeast Minneapolis (Nordeast) Arts District near Logan Park. The club is surrounded by many restaurants, art and entertainment venues. The Castle is one of the most active chess clubs in the US and welcomes chess newcomers to seasoned players. The club is the meeting place and center of activity for the state's strongest chess players. 
The Chess Castle is the home address for the Minnesota State Chess Association (MSCA) and works closely with the Minnesota State Chess Association to promote chess in Minnesota. MSCA board meetings and other functions are held at the Castle. The Chess Castle is also home and a resource for Minneapolis Chess, an organization that helps promote chess in Minneapolis schools.

Annual individual membership $120 (family membership $160). You do not need to be a member to participate in any club event. There is a non-member rate for club activities. (Membership Store)

Club hours depend on events, please check the club calendar. Open most Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Weekends.
